Back, Back, Back Again! Back-in-Stock Notifications Now Available for Shopify Stores

Our Back-in-Stock feature is now available to all users on Shopify!

After previously announcing our beta for Back-in-Stock Notifications, we’re now excited to announce the official launch of Back-in-Stock to all our users on Shopify

If you have a Shopify store, you can now install a button on your site for your customers to subscribe for restock notifications. Voyage will monitor your inventory, and when a product goes back in stock, we will automatically send out a text with a link right to the product.

  • Added the ability to allow subscribers to close Gorgias tickets by responding with “CLOSE”
  • Updated Shopify and BigCommerce Drip templates
  • Fixed a bug with editing the Delay block in a Drip
  • Added a search bar to all filter menus in the Segment builder
  • Fixed an issue where Drip trigger filters were showing blank dropdowns
  • Added the ability to open a Gorgias ticket even for keywords that do not match the Trigger Keyword
  • Improved the UI for scheduling a Follow-up Campaign

Just Docked: A/B Testing for Campaigns

This week, we’ve made A/B Testing for Campaigns available for all users, revamped the Integrations catalog, and released other improvements.

We previously announced the launch of our beta for Campaign A/B testing. After receiving great feedback and ironing out a few bugs, we’re now excited to announce that Campaign A/B testing is available for all our users! 

You can now create up to 4 variants of a Campaign and send them to a test audience. Our system will measure the click-through rate for each variant in real-time to then determine the best performing message and send it to the remaining subscribers on your list. 

New Integrations Catalog

We completely revamped our Integrations catalog to make it easier to find and navigate all your integrations. Besides enhancing the overall look and feel of the catalog, we added the ability to search integrations and improved the UX of setting up an integration. In line with much of our work so far this year, this update lays the foundation for upcoming functionality.

Other Improvements

  • UTM Tags are now global, and can be enabled across all campaigns
  • If your customer is already subscribed to a list, they will now receive a message reminding them they are already subscribed
  • Deep Links and Two-Tap now support fallbacks for customers clicking on Desktop
  • Added the ability to expose total orders from Shopify in the Segment builder
  • Fixed a bug when trying to schedule a Follow-Up campaign within 24 hours from the original campaign
  • Added new filters “greater than” and “less than” for all date-based filters in the Segment builder
  • Fixed a bug where it wasn’t possible to search Klaviyo campaigns in the Segment builder
  • Improved our Shopify data importing process

Ding! Increase Subscribers and Sales with Back-in-Stock Notifications

Our new Back-in-Stock feature transforms the customer experience — and helps you increase SMS subscribers and sales.

For your customers, nothing is more frustrating than getting to a product only to see it is out of stock. The burden is often placed on them to come back and refresh over and over hoping to catch when you increase inventory for the item they desire. We wanted to fix this.

With Back-in-Stock notifications, you can automatically install a button on your site for your customers to subscribe for restock notifications. Voyage will monitor your inventory, and when it increases, we will send out a text with a link right to the product. 

In building this feature, we took into consideration the customer experience – most platforms spam your customers with back-in-stock messages. By the time they get to the page, they are left disappointed that it is sold out again. To improve the experience, you can batch send notifications and stop sending when inventory reaches zero again, increasing the odds that when someone receives the notification, they are likely to order the product they desire.

A/B Testing for Campaigns: Welcome to the Multiverse

This week, we’ve opened preview access for A/B Testing for Campaigns and released other improvements.

With all the talk of the Multiverse, we were inspired to find a way to give our Brands an opportunity to experience it for themselves. Enter A/B Testing for Campaigns. With this new super power, Brands can now test multiple variants of messages in their Campaigns. This works by sending different messages to a smaller number of subscribers, our system will measure the click-through rate in real-time to then determine the best performing message and send it to the remaining subscribers on the list.

We are releasing this functionality to a subset of Brands today, and to the remaining in the coming weeks. If you can’t wait, feel free to request access here.

It’s that time of year: Spring Cleaning! We’ve been swabbing our decks, spiffing up our codebase, and optimizing our processes to serve you with an improved experience.

We are hard at work to bring more functionality to our product in the coming weeks and months ahead, we will give you sneak peeks into the future soon! 

Magento, Segment, and Product Waitlist . . . OH MY!

We have been testing our new Magento and Segment integrations, as well as our upcoming Product Waitlist functionality. This week we are moving them to Alpha Release and our team will be reaching out to you in the coming weeks to see if we can work together on deploying this functionality. This week, we opened preview access to our Magento Plugin that allows easy installation and use of our functionality for Magento stores.

When we built our platform, we focused on empowering brands using Shopify to power their stores. Yet, as we grew, we kept hearing from more and more brands that they too wanted to use Voyage without using their internal development resources to integrate with our API. So we got to work, and today we are excited to announce that we are opening up access to our Magento Plugin as a Voyage Preview feature. This means that brands using Magento will be able to easily install ( manual install during preview ) and use Voyage to build delightful messaging experiences for their customers! Preview: Voyage Destination Action for Segment

This week, we opened preview access to our Destination Action with Segment to send events and attributes from Segment Sources ( Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc. ) into Voyage.

When communicating with your customers, it is critical to have up-to-date, accurate, and holistic context about them to ensure you are sending the right message at the right time. To help our Brands out, we co-developed a Destination Action with Segment to send events and attributes from Segment Sources ( Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc. ) into Voyage. 

Given that Segment’s Destination Actions are still in beta, and the technical requirements required for this integration, we are keeping it in Preview for now. This week on Voyage, we've made dashboard improvements, released the LoyaltyLion integration, and updated the app with more fixes and improvements.

Dashboard Improvements

We’ve updated our dashboard chart designs to give you better insights into your existing SMS messaging data. Dashboard summaries now include Active Subscribers and Unsubscribes in addition to New Subscribers. Brands can view more nuanced data regarding your subscriber base growth and engagement over time with these additional dimensions.

LoyaltyLion Integration

Rewards programs are an increasingly important part of any direct-to-consumer company’s customer journey, and now Voyage lets you integrate rewards information into your SMS campaigns via LoyaltyLion. With our new LoyaltyLion integration, your team can segment campaigns by a customer’s rewards tier, point total, and much more. You can also personalize your messages with rewards information for each specific subscriber. Learn more about how to set up your integration here.
